Apart from some insights into her life, there are some examples of her gorgeous illustrations. Personally, I just love the sheep knitting granny squares.
I was fascinated to read that she loves the work of Richard Scarry. As a child I doted on his books and spent many hours with 'What do People do all Day' and 'Busy, Busy World'. When we travel, I sometimes have Richard Scarry moments, seeing characters like Sneef the Detective just out of the corner of my eye. Just thinking about those books makes me want to sit down and read them again!
